We are seeking a candidate with a strong competitive drive, excellent verbal and written communication, analytical skills, relationship building, prospecting and lead qualification skills. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast paced and competitive business environment, with a willingness to overlap their work hours with the United States time zone. Incumbent would report directly to the Director, and not to sales/marketing function heads. Incumbent would share responsibility for Lead : Close ratios with sales heads, and be held accountable for the same.

MUST have 2+ years of a proven track record of relevant sales experience - preferably in an inside sales and customer facing role.

Ability to understand and apply UWCT products and services practice to embedded and mobile computing markets for OEMs and ISVs, and generate and qualify prospect lists for the same (we understand there may be some learning curve here).
Proficient computer skills(Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc)
Ability to put forth points succinctly and effectively, highlighting appropriate value propositions.
Familiar with consultative selling techniques, exchanging accurate and relevant information.
Support the post-sale account management function by ensuring customer satisfaction during build phases.
Create database of contact info for prospective accounts - equally acceptable if candidate can effectively delegate this function to sales administration staff.
Understand and apply our product and services practice to embedded and mobile computing markets for OEMs and ISVs, and generate and qualify prospect lists for the same (we understand there may be some learning curve here).
Document competitive information on accounts, technology used, use of suppliers/integrators/partners consolidation, and other intelligence including pricing.
Create, execute and manage sales and marketing campaigns via phone, email, and fax
Execute and garner cross-departmental inside support for sales and marketing campaigns via phone, email, and fax.
Proactively contact/prospect with existing customers, potential customers and Fortune 1000 companies on a daily basis. Inform current and potential customers of products and promotions and to generate new or increase sales/business via telephone, e-mail, and fax blasts.
Identify trade shows/events, media and web resources where the company can be represented professionally.
Create database of contact information of leading consortia and related trade organizations including Board of Directors, Executive Directors, etc.
Develop proposals and statements of work.
Track Sales Cycle progress.
Take initiative and drive resolution of issues in his or her areas of responsibility.
Learning should be one of candidate's major drivers.
Candidate should want to make technology sales a career, and ambition to grow in the inside sales function, to eventually train and head a team.
Candidate should rock at prospecting.
Candidate should have great stories to tell about how he/she has been able to ferret through F1000 accounts to find the right decison-maker and turn them into qualified opportunities that were converted to a strategic sale.
Candidate success should has been built on their ability to assess and understand customer strategic objectives and then articulate how our solution/s maps to these better than any of our competitors.
